About Me

I'm an environmentalist, journalist, mathematician and poet. I hope to make a positive difference in this world by following my passions to write, create, analyze and understand. I work to clean up our energy sources and to help us become more resource efficient. I write poems and stories that aim to help people tangle with nuance. As a Puerto Rican-American, I share my mixed experience in hopes of improving lives on the island and the mainland. As a Stanford grad, I share my resources & privilege to help students on their educational journeys. In my free time, I love playing basketball, running on the track, and discovering new poetry/music. Lastly, as a lifelong goal, I strive to live with the optimism of the poet Walt Whitman:

Be not discouraged - keep on - there are divine things well envelop'd;
I swear to you there are divine things more beautiful than words can tell.
